Company profile

The principal of Hi Consulting is Dr Tom Harris. Tom has been working in applied research and technology transfer for nearly twenty years.

This time has included running a University research group in a top rated department, planning and implementing technology transfer programmes for the UK Department of Trade and Industry (now DIUS and TSB) and successfully extracting technology from University to form a startup company and bring product to market. This mix of experience has provided a unique understanding of the processes and motivations of all sides of the technology transfer process.

Tom is a Chartered Engineer and member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers and the Institute of Directors.
