The principal of Hi Consulting is Dr Tom Harris. Tom has been working in applied research and technology transfer for over twenty five years, is a member of the Institute of Engineering & Technology and the Institute of Directors.

This time has included running a University research group in a top rated (5*) department, planning and implementing technology transfer programmes for the UK Government and successfully extracting technology from University to form a startup company and bring product to market. This mix of experience has provided a unique understanding of the processes and motivations of all sides of the technology transfer process.
